Judith Wilkins Rose

As Athletic Director of UNCC, attracted two NCAA basketball Final Four Tournaments to Charlotte. Developed UNC Charlotte women’s basketball and tennis programs. Has been responsible for several major fundraising efforts at UNC Charlotte raising over $15,000,000 to build three significant athletic facilities. Received 1981 YMCA SportsWoman of the Year award. Chair for USA Conference for Athletic Directors in 1996-97. Woman of the Year 1996.
