Carla Eloff DuPuy

Served as Chair of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners for three terms (1984-90). Was cofounder of the Carolinas Counties Coalition and appointed by the Governor to chair the N.C. Development Council. Served on N.C. Environmental Management Commission. Served as Chair of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library Board of Trustees. Chaired “Success by Six” initiative of United Way. Woman of the Year 1989.
