Kathleen Ross Crosby

Had a long career in public education as principal of Billingsville Elementary and as an area superintendent with the Charlotte – Mecklenburg Schools until she retired in 1986. Received the B’Nai B’Rith Human Relations Award. Inducted into the NAACP Hall of Fame for outstanding community service. Member of Board of Governors for UNC system. Woman of the Year 1976.
