Linda Lockman-Brooks
Linda Lockman-Brooks is president and principal of Lockman-Brooks Marketing Services, LLC. The firm provides strategic marketing and communications consulting expertise and executive talent management.
A sustaining member of the Junior League of Charlotte, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Linda has served as the chair of the board of trustees for Central Piedmont Community College, the chair of the board of directors for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library Foundation, as well as the board chair for the Arts and Science Council, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Women’s Inter-Cultural Exchange and the YWCA of the Central Carolinas. Linda is a Senior Fellow of the Charlotte Chapter of the American Leadership Forum and was the Executive in Residence for the Wake Forest University MBA Program in Charlotte in 2020.
In 2021, she was co-chair for the “Powering a Stronger Future” Campaign that raised a record $66.3mm for Central Piedmont, which enables the College to establish 81 new scholarships; increase student access to additional academic support, mentoring and advising services and serve Charlotte’s most under- resourced populations through accelerated adult learning programs. Woman of the Year 2021.
