Claire Kinnett Tate

Helped to develop organizations to better the lives of children and their families, including Advocates for Children in Court, Charlotte–Mecklenburg Teen Center, Lakewood Preschool Cooperative, the Central Avenue Bi-Lingual Preschool, Partners in Out-of-School Time, and Teen-Age Parents Service Supporters. Co-Founded the Women’s Impact Fund, an initiative of the Foundation of the Carolinas. Woman of the Year 2001.
