Jill Stewart Flynn

Jill Stewart Flynn is a business leader, a civic leader and a champion for women. In 2021, after her career as a banking executive, Jill co-founded Flynn Heath Leadership, a firm that coaches and trains corporate women. She is the co-author of two business books for women, Break Your Own Rules and The Influence Effect.  Jill was named Queens University Businesswoman of the Year in 1992.

As a civic leader Jill co-founded Freedom School Partners in 1999. FSP provides a dynamic, literacy-based summer day camp for hundreds of under-resourced children. Jill served on the boards of The Foundation for the Carolinas, CPCC, Salem College and many local nonprofits. 

As a champion for women Jill was catalyst and co-founder of the WINGS Scholarship program which provides scholarships and mentors for female college students over the age of 25. Jill also served on the founding boards of Women Executives, the Women’s Impact Fund, and Good Friends. She was a leader for the first Habitat house built by women. Woman of the year 2000.
