Tempie Frankin

Served as President of the Mint Museum Board of Trustees (1964-65), when she single handedly was responsible for raising $250,000 to secure the M. Mellanay Delhorn Collection of Ceramic Art for the Mint Museum and the city of Charlotte. Woman of the Year 1967.
