Lurlene Barnhardt

Chosen in 1960 as Churchwoman of the Year by the Methodist Church and served as President of the Western N.C. Conference Women’s Society of the Methodist Church in 1966. President of the Charlotte Pharmaceutical Auxiliary in 1941 and President of the Charlotte Woman’s Club in 1947. Delegate to the White House Conference on Aging. Woman of the Year 1963.
