Octavia Seawell
Octavia Sewell has been a process and organization development consultant for more than 30 years. Her firm, OZS Consulting offers services in strategic planning, process design and change initiatives, working with organizations and communities.
She has utilized her skills and abilities to meet the needs of her clients, while being intentional about addressing equity in varied aspects of diversity. She is a culture change advocate, focused on creating systematic change regarding race, gender, the LGBTQ+ community, age, national origin and economic status.
Her love of the Charlotte community and commitment to making it a better place for all to live, work and play is evidenced across many local nonprofits, corporations and public-sector organizations. Before “opportunity” was a topic at almost every public forum, Octavia was asking tough questions about access, inclusion, equity and trust. Woman of the Year 2018.
